When Pink or Blue Just Won’t Do
Share
Gone are the days of a safe white or pale lemon for a surprise sex baby! Today we’re feeling so inspired and excited by all the amazingly creative people out there showing us colour combos that we’d have never dreamed of. These pictures prove that a nursery doesn’t have to be the place where style stops – as a matter of fact – we reckon it can actually be quite the feature room. The nursery is the place where you’ll spend the most of amount of time in those early years, so you want to surround yourself in a beautiful space that will bring you pleasure…no matter what time of day or night.
Our top 3 Unisex Baby Rooms
1. Vintage Chic Baby

This nursery design was love at first sight. I’ve had a secret love affair with the colour turquoise since forever, so to see it taking pride of place in a nursery is my version of heaven. I love the way all the different colours and patterns work together so beautifully(especially the contrast of the modern black and white zig zag rug with the vintage style cabinet and chair). This makes me realise that creativity is definitely a talent and we are not all born with equal measures of divine vision!
2. New York, New York baby

This just reminds me of a chic New York apartment! I love the stripes on the ceiling…so simple and yet so effective at creating drama. Another bold nursery that is quite the feature room, you can see this décor easily translate throughout the rest of the house.
3. Somewhere over the rainbow

This room reminds us of the joy of colour! The colours and textures are just a magical execution of the fun and frivolity that is childhood. I feel like you couldn't help but be cheerful waking up in this room. This room is truly inspired thinking.
That's our top 3 for now. Stay tuned for me.
