Gender Reveal Cupcakes

We love a celebration – any excuse for a party and a cute theme and we’re excited. That’s why we’re loving the latest craze – gender reveal parties and announcements  – could you think of a better theme? After all, the discovery of a babies gender is still one of life’s greatest surprises.

It seems as though the number of couples finding out the sex of their baby prior to birth is on the increase, and is particularly common when it comes to second pregnancies. If this is your second baby you are probably not planning on having another Baby Shower. We think that every expectant Mum deserves a party thrown in her honour to celebrate the impending arrival – a gender reveal party is a fun way to share the big news with friends and family.

One of our favourite ideas for your gender reveal party – gender reveal cupcakes. We’re loving these dark chocolate ganache cupcakes with a blue vanilla cream center. Obviously you can use any cupcake recipe you like – once baked through just fill a pastry bag with your coloured cream and pipe the cream into the centre of the cupcake. Voila!
